Just what I wanted!,
I was after warm grippy water/snow proof soft winter boots that would not take up too much room in my suitcase and would look presentable under trousers for town wear.
These fit the bill perfectly. I read reviews which said they tend to be on the small side in their sizing so I ordered a UK 5 as I am a UK 4 and they fit perfectly with room for thick socks.

|Not Waterproof,
Bought these boots three weeks ago and they are warm and comfortable. However, yesterday I was caught in heavy rain and my feet were soaking wet (got home, took boots off and had to wring out my socks)I have phoned Trespass this morning to be told that they are designed for snow, not rain, as rain is “wetter” than snow! Also, they have waterproof “properties” what ever that means. As I said, warm and comfortable but if you are considering these boots as an alternative to wellies, dont bother.

The boots came quickly and are good value but had to be returned as they were too small. It said UK size 8 but they were too small for a size 41 or 42 foot. I would say they were more a size 40 (which they may class as UK8 but I wouldn’t). Had to return them and paid for the return (£4 something for postage with receipt of posting). So beware if ordering them, order them a size bigger than you would normally. I bought other 2 pairs different kinds of Trespass snowboots (UK 8 being 42 in the mens size snowboot which fitted me, I am between 41 and 42 and UK 7 which I class as 41 in female size snow boot but different size and fitted perfect). The fittings may be just small for the Lara boot or this boot may have been wrongly sized.
