Inspired by the footwear worn by horsemen roaming the steppes of Mongolia, these were designed to stop winter right in its tracks. Waterproof suede and Nubuck and trimmed with wool, these provide all the traction you need with a sticky rubber outsole, plus plenty of support with a molded arch shank.

Warm and waterproof but not as comfortable as expected,
I have been looking for a pair of warm and waterproof boots since last year and I came across this model on Amazon. I’m a fan of Merrell shoes since they are usually extremelly comfortable and durable. These boots are beautiful and as usual for Merrell with high standards of quality and finish. However, after using them for more than two weeks they are still uncomfortable around the ankles, specially on the back. I have no idea how long it will take to break them in, since with other Merrell shoes it only takes a couple of days.
I put them to the test for snow and I can tell you that they are waterproof and they look as new after a walk in the snow with my dog. Indeed they are warm but not hot, so my feet stayed dry after walking for around 45 min. The only problem now is that they are not that comfortable so I cannot wear them very often or for long periods of time. The problem seems to be in the inside of the boot with some parts rubbing against my skin even when I’m wearing socks. Also the leather is not as soft as I expected so when you walk is not that flexible. I’m not returning them, but I just hope the leather will become more flexible around the ankle at some point during this winter. I would recommend them for ladies like me with a wide calf, since you can adjust the width of the boot with the shoe laces. In fact, I can even manage to tuck in my trousers, something almost impossible to do with other boots. Well I would say give them a go, but don’t expect super soft and flexible leather.

|fab cosy warm boots,
we live in scotland and I needed something to keep my feet cosy and dry. These boots are definitely the ones that fulfil everything. They are snug, comfortable, did not need breaking in and most importantly, they keep my feet dry in the snow and rain. they look fab with leggings and will fit over jeans because they are adjustable. also look great with a skirt. 10/10!

|Perfect Fashion Winter Boot,
These are warm and extremely comfortable. I’m a size 4 and they fitted perfectly and the laces at the front allow you to easily adjust the width. They look fantastic on as well. I won’t want this winter to end.
