Dr Martens Jenny (Tan): good winter boots,
Great boots, soft leather and lovely colour. They’re really easy to get on and off, immediatly comfortable, no blisters! They give me good grip and keep my feet warm and dry under the rain and snow. I was a little bit worry about the sizing as they’ve got a “faux-fur ” lining and (removable) soles but I bought my usual size (8) and they’re just fine and snug (but no extra room as usually with my others size 8 DM boots).
Only 4 stars because I find them a little bit too wide (48 cm round) around the calves, even with my jeans tuck in.

|Practical boots,
I wanted mid-calf brown boots but I didn’t want to buy UGG and look like everybody else. These looked nice and simple and they are. Just a bit wider at the top than I would have liked. I guess they made them wider so that you can turn it over and have shearing cuffs. I like they way I can choose the look. Very sturdy and chunky, yet very comfy and light. Excellent grip on the slipperly snow which is very important in this Arctic weather we are experiencing at the moment! The shearing goes all the way to the toes which at first made them bit on the tight side, but after a while they have flattened a bit and now fit better. (I still can’t wear thick wooly socks however) Wish Dr Martens do half sizes. I’m a size 5 normally but with Dr Marten boots I always feel that 5 1/2 would be a better fit for me. I am not fond of ‘synthetic’ shearing but it does make these boots warmer than perhaps without it. I did get compliments from some people. Great to wear them with slim jeans tucked in. Good reliable boots in which I can go rough and tumble! I am very pleased with my purchase.

|Comfort and style. and a good price too.,
I have so many problems buying footwear as my feet are a little on the broad side, and my instep is quite deep. I’ve done the Uggs and the Crawl boots. they’re OK if you drive mostly as they look good but not so practical for walkers like myself. I used to wear Dms back in the day as they were so properly perportioned but then they sort of fell out of fashion. Anyway, I was so glad my daughter found these on Amazon. It took me a while to decide which colour to choose – I opted for the brown but after liviing in them for the last week I just had to order the black too. They are so comfortable, I could wear them straight from the box, which is something I can Never normally do. Order the size that you are, please don’t think because they are DMs you have to order smaller, you don’t! they are lined with faux sheep skin all through so if u dont like socks this is an extra bonus! Now bring on the snow, sleet and hail as Ik now my feet are going to be safe and warm and unpinched!
