Kipling Firefly N Backpack with canvas fully adjustable Shoulder straps – straps can be folded away – neat. Has a canvas carry handle, plus has a detachable shoulder strap. Makes it a 3 way convertable. Backpack is made in water resistant crinkle nylon. Has furry monkey clip on keyring. Single Zipped main section with a zipped slip pocket. Nice bag, but double check that this is what you think it is!,
My wife wanted this bag for a birthday present, having seen it in a local shop.
The price advertised for this was roughly the same as the local shop but I like the convenience of shopping on line, so ordered it through Amazon’s market.
I must admit that when it arrived (quickly and well packaged), I took a quick peek to check it was the right colour etc, but left it all packed up so that my wife would feel that it was totally new and untouched.
Being a Kipling bag, quality was never going to be an issue… however when I handed it to her on the morning of her birthday and she unwrapped it, her face contorted to that somewhat uncomfortable expression that means ‘ Noooooooooooooooo!!!!!!’
As it turns out, this bag was only half the size of the rucksack that she had seen locally but with the price being so similar, we felt it safe to assume that it was the same item. We were wrong.
If you are buying this and are looking for a very small rucksack (her ipad fits in it at a really tight squeeze) then you’ll be happy with your purchase if you don’t mind paying a lot of money for a small bag. If you are looking for something that will carry your lunch, a spare sweater, your ipad and your purse /lippy etc., then you definitely need something bigger.

Love this backpack, has lots of convenient spaces and is secure. Although it looks small I managed to get a pair of shoes, camera, spectacle case, brolly and rain mack in the main compartment and easily close the zip – also had loads of room in the other pockets. It is also very comfortable to wear as a backpack and has the usual Kipling quality – colour is great too.

absolutly BRILLIANT, light weight, roomy, loadsa pockets, strong zips, adaptable to shoulder bag as has extra strap, it held my largish camera, bottle of water, passport pocket, small pockets for lipstick n powder, tissues in another, zip compartment for large purse, i wouldnt be with out it!. brilliant
